Bill Boggs, a former English teacher, has been a prolific writer. His novel, At First Sight, together with his life-inspired Off-Broadway show, Talk Show Confidential, were recently optioned for a screenplay. He published an acclaimed self-help book with Harper/Collins, Got What it Takes? Successful People Reveal How They Made it to the Top, which has spurred a career in motivational and leadership talks.

He has written essays for The New York Times Sunday Magazine along with travel articles and food pieces for The New York Times and several other magazines and periodicals. He currently writes the food & travel column Bill Boggs Corner Table for, which has nine million readers a month.

His two essays on Frank Sinatra were published in compilations about the singer by Oxford University Press. He has been an avid daily journal keeper for decades and is contemplating a memoir, after the publication of which he is likely to flee the country.
