"I wish I had tapes of all the interviews I did over the years with Shirley—but here's one from 1986 where she talks about some past life experiences. She and I got along very well. I first met her shortly after her trip to China in the 70's and last interviewed her at the time of her wonderful gig with Sinatra at Radio City Music hall in 1992. Shirley was a guy's woman—great to hang with and very honest. At the time of the '92 gig, where she did her singing and dancing act, she told me backstage, 'I wanted to do this, to play this place before I got too old.'
