Behind the Scenes: "The maestro you meet here is comfortably seated in his own restaurant in Manhattan where he is committed to serving New Yorkers fine Spanish food, so you'll hear some interesting conversation about his view of the way Spanish food is perceived in America. Also there's plenty in here about the fabled three tenors and their work together. Of course I had to try to get him to sing—even just a little—but he says, 'I never sing at the dinner table.' He said it in a friendly way, but later in the show—during our tour of the restaurant—he lured me into doing a little of the Johnny Mercer classic 'Moon River' with him. I can sing and I've done it professionally, but something about that big voice coming at me threw me off—not my finest musical moment. My impressions of him—a gracious gentleman, and a very physically strong man. And fun." —Bill Boggs
