Behind the Scenes: "I interviewed John at his art gallery in Soho in Manhattan. Early in his tennis career, John made the decision to put some of the big bucks he was earning into art and those investments have paid off handsomely. In a way, his fiery temper from court battles of the past has become a joke now used in commercials, but to have seen him play in his prime was to witness a force and a tightly wound artist who happened to be brilliant at playing tennis. McEnroe has the 'vibe' of a rock star—thin, intense and taking no BS from anybody. The women on our crew loved him and ranked him among the sexiest of all the male guests we had that season. I was also impressed by his values as a father. He is a stand up guy, and one of the greatest talents ever to walk on a court. And, oh yes, very intelligent. Serve him and watch." —Bill Boggs
